Company Description:

The Akron Area Electrical Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (AAEJATC) is responsible for training all of the residential, commercial, and tele-data apprentices for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) local 306. The AAEJATC is recognized by the Department of Labor and is credited by the Ohio Apprenticeship Council. While attending these programs, veterans will be able to collect their G.I. Bill. The AAEJATC offer:

- 5 year commercial wireman program
- 3 year residential wireman program
- 3 year tele-data technician (not registered)
-Job Assignments, not just referrals, but placements with responsible employer/contractors.
-Multi-Contractor Employment Pool – The AAEJATC has a contractual arrangement with over 25 responsible contractors to keep you employed. Your future is not tied to the fortunes of one firm.
-Miniumal tuition at an outstanding training facility.
-A no cost to you, college credit from Northwest State Community College.
-Defined wages based on clearly defined benchmarks.
-Health Insurance for you and your family at no cost to you.
-Retirement plans at no cost to you.
-Safe working conditions guaranteed by contract.
